Situated in the middle of the sea, Seaventures is a diving platform par excellence. Water temperature hovers here between 26°C to 30°C throughout the year, never becoming too cold, and this makes the diving quite pleasant. And from here it is convenient to do macro diving at the dive sites of Kapalai and Mabul, and also to dive at Barracuda Point where hundreds of fearsome-looking fishes swim across majestically.
From Seaventures, divers can dive unlimited number of times, and freeze in their cameras the brilliant colors and incredible variety of animal life that remain hidden beneath the sea. At Barracuda Point, if you are lucky you will be able to see the barracuda tornado, a whirlpool like formation made by shoals of barracudas. Coral varieties like sea whips, tube sponge, antler corals, and black corals, are common here.
PADI has awarded a five-star rating to Seaventures. The resort trains divers, and have with them experienced divers who can take the visitors down attractive sites and guide them. The resort has got 14 daily permits which is quite high when compared to the number of guests it houses.
The fiberglass boats that Seaventures use are well-equipped with oxygen and first aid medicines and other equipments. The boats take a minimum of three trips every day.
